Baptism

As I think about how scary our world can be at times and how people can be so cruel, it is easy to be nervous about raising Levi in this broken place. Today I was reminded that God wins. God is faithful and his plan is perfect.

This past Sunday we had Levi baptized. To us, baptism is a promise from us to teach Levi about Christ's love and forgiveness, to pray for him and to live our lives as an example of what being a Christ followers looks like. Baptism is also a promise from the church to help us raise him to know and believe Christ's sacrifice. We trust that God will help us when we fall short.

Today and always, I will pray for Levi's light to shine in the darkness.

Levi Allen Wismer

On October 1 we welcome our sweet baby boy into the world. Levi Allen was born at 2:10 in the afternoon. He weighed 7 lb. 6 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long.

We couldn't be happier to meet our little man.

Nursery

We spent some time this summer decorating the nursery baby.

Allie was really helpful.

Showered with Love

On September 7th I was so blessed to have another baby shower for baby W and I.  Kara and Dani (along with some help from others I'm sure) outdid themselves with the decorations and food.  It is so fun to have such a special party to celebrate our baby.

I was also so lucky to have my mom, Macy and Aaliyah make the trip from Minnesota. (Wyatt and my dad also made the trip to golf with Andrew!)
