Week 32

This week we found out that I have a condition called cholestasis of pregnancy   I will be seeing my doctor more then normal at this stage of pregnancy and will be paying extra close attention to all the little kicks and flips my little guy does to make sure he is staying active.

The beginning of the week involved a decent amount of stress as I tried to learn more about this condition and find out what it means for me and my baby.  We are continuing to pray that God protects our baby and that He guides our doctors in the decisions they make for us.

Library Tour!

Here is My Library!

For those of you that didn't know, I started as the Teacher Librarian at Hitchcock Elementary last January. Since I started in the middle of the year I just hit the ground running.
This year has been extremely fun to start off with my own decorations, expectations and lessons.
I have the opportunity to teach Preschool through 5th graders and get to know every student in our building. I spend my days teaching student library skills, talking to kids about books, teaching research lessons and showing kids all different types of technology and how to use it.

Basically - I love my job!

Edgerton Baby Shower

A couple weeks ago I was blessed by my family and friends from Edgerton with a beautiful shower. My sisters and mom did a great job putting it all together; the decorations were adorable and the food was delicious!
We received SO many gifts and Baby W was loved on well.  Here are all kinds of pictures of the guests, decorations and hosts.

Thank you to everyone who was able to come or who sent a gift.  You make me feel so blessed.

Happy 60th Birthday, Dad!

To celebrate my dad's 60th birthday we got together a bunch of my parents best friends and our wonderful family! We enjoyed delicious food and good conversation. It was a beautiful night to celebrate.

My parents finished their back yard project just in time for the party.
(Mom's ideas - Dad's handy work with Wyatt helping)

Dad received a lot of great gifts from friends. Pretty much all following this theme.

Sweet Aaliyah joined in the party!

Many people checked out my dad's current project.
He even got the car running in time to take it to school on his birthday.

To say Aaliyah received some lovin' from the party guests would be an understatement.
I'm surprised Macy and James didn't have to fight someone to get her back. :)

Family enjoying the party.

Even Allie had a good time.
